Mr. Bousquet-Chavanne was appointed to the board of Marks & Spencer plc in July 2013, he has more than 25 years experience in the international branded consumer goods industry, in London, Paris and New York. He joined M&S as Corporate Director of Strategy and Business Development in September 2012. He was appointed to his present position in July 2013, where he acts as Chief Brand and Marketing Officer across all M&S’s activities in specialty food, fashion, home, beauty, energy and banking, whilst continuing to direct M&S strategy implementation.  Patrick has made the development of digital capabilities and branded content a business priority at M&S, whilst putting consumer insight and advanced analytics at the heart of a new CRM program. He assumed additional responsibility for the International business in July 2014, overseeing all Group activities across 50 countries.

Prior to joining M&S, Patrick was a Group President of the Estée Lauder Companies Inc. [NYSE: EL], where he oversaw the global affairs of some of the company’s largest brands including Estee Lauder, MAC and the Designer Fragrances division. Earlier at Estee Lauder, Patrick was a member of The Estée Lauder Companies’ Executive Committee as President of Estee Lauder International Inc, directing the expansion of all Estée Lauder company portfolio brands across 130 countries. He stepped down from Estée Lauder in 2008 to pursue new opportunities in the private equity field. Since 2005 Patrick sits on the board of Brown-Forman Corporation [NYSE: BF-B], a global spirits company, he was a member of the board of HSN, Inc. [NASDAQ: HSNI] between 2008 and 2013 and presently also sits on the board of Collectively.org. a sustainability driven platform aimed at millennials.

Prior to his relocation to London Mr. Bousquet-Chavanne also served as the Chairman of The Fragrance Foundation in USA and as a member of the Advisory Board of the New York City Ballet. He holds an MBA from Krannert Graduate School of Management at Purdue University and an Advanced Management degree from Stanford's Executive Program in Strategy and Organization. Patrick is married and has two daughters.
